Identity verification is a legal requirement introduced in November 2025.

Your company must ensure sure all directors and people with significant control (PSCs) have verified their identity by their due dates.

Directors can complete Companies House identity verification themselves at no cost using the official Companies House digital portal. Using our service is optional. Our fee covers the licensed identity verification check, secure data processing, administration time, handling any verification issues, and submitting the confirmation to Companies House so that your Personal Verification Code can be issued.

You will require a Biometric passport from any country or a UK photo driving license (full or provisional) & a physical document, paperless bill, or PDF that shows your current address.
